To All DC 37 Local 3652 Members,
This is to inform you that the 2024 AFSCME Convention is scheduled for August 12th to August 16th in Los Angeles, CA. This Local Union will be sending Delegates to the Convention and will reimburse all expenses to the participants.
Per our constitution, Delegates to the AFSCME convention must be selected by the membership via a secret ballot election. Union Local 3652 members in good standing for at least one year are welcome to participate in this election.
A Nomination/Election meeting will be held at 2 Broadway, room A5.07 on June 5th, 2024, at 6:00 pm. Candidates can nominate themselves or any qualified member. An election committee will be appointed to coordinate the election. Please note that elected delegates must use their annual leave to attend the convention.
