        The attached FAQ was prepared by FISA-OPA and distributed by OLR on the One Big Beautiful Bill Act, which contained a provision allowing for the deduction of wages earned on FLSA premium overtime.

NYCERS MISTAKE

Wages, Overtime Ceiling, and the MTA NYCERS appears to be under the impression that its Tier 6 members are subject to an overtime ceiling with respect to both payroll pension contributions and to calculating the member’s final average salary when the member retires. NYCERS has notified its membership that it is in the process of refunding pension contributions made by members who work for the MTA.
